On April 13, 2017, the unveiling ceremony of Nuclear Medicine Neusoft Molecular Imaging College jointly established by Chinese Society of Nuclear Medicine and Neusoft Medical Systems was held in the First Hospital of China Medical University and the training class was successfully commenced. Professor Li Yaming who is the Chairman of Chinese Society of Nuclear Medicine and the Director of Nuclear Medicine Department of the First Hospital of China Medical University, Ma Jian who is the Head of Neusoft Medical Oncology Solution Business Department and Nuclear Medical Product Marketing Department, and Neusoft Medical PET/CT clinical team as well as the trainees taking part in the training class attended the event.
Nuclear Medicine Neusoft Molecular Imaging College jointly established by Chinese Society of Nuclear Medicine and Neusoft Medical Systems is aimed at speeding the development of nuclear medical diagnosis and treatment, enhancing the nuclear medicine molecular imaging diagnosis and treatment level, and promoting the training for nuclear medical talents and the implementation of clinical scientific researches. Besides, it’s intended to contribute to the industrialization of product research & development and technological innovations in the field of medical devices in China, and advance the development of medical device industry in China.
Nuclear Medicine Department, the First Hospital of China Medical University, established in October 1959, is not only a clinical department integrated with medicine, teaching and research in Northeast China but also a training base for clinical nuclear medicine of Chinese Society of Nuclear Medicine. Experiencing several decades of development, it has become a department equipped with a full set of advanced nuclear medical equipment, excellent talent team and complete supporting equipment.
Nuclear Medicine Neusoft Molecular Imaging College, based on the industry-college-research cooperation between Chinese Society of Nuclear Medicine and Neusoft Medical Systems, clinically supported by the nuclear medical specialists of China Medical University, makes clinical application demonstration and training for PET/CT clients of Neusoft Medical Systems. The college develops comprehensive courses with full process and targeted at all kinds of talents such as doctors, technicians, nurses, chemists, physicists and quality control personnel, to enhance the overall quality and ability of PET/CT doctors, technicians and nurses, thus making full use of PET/CT advantages in hospital diagnosis. In addition to technology-based training courses, the college develops management training class mainly targeted at the administrative staffs such as the directors and deputy directors of PET/CT Center, making them comprehensively understand the operation management of PET/CT center by means such as visit, learning, following departments and participation in meetings.
With the unveiling ceremony, the First PET/CT Training Class of Nuclear Medicine Neusoft Molecular Imaging College was officially commenced. Li Yaming, a professor of China Medical University, handed out books to the trainees’ representative, illustrated the training outline, and arranged medical staff of the department for one-on-one instruction.
The association between Chinese Society of Nuclear Medicine and Neusoft Medical Systems will be certain to create a great number of achievements.
